Security Function Design & Operational Readiness
A rapidly developing mine required a security model capable of protecting people, critical infrastructure and high-value assets while construction activity, workforce levels, access routes and operational priorities changed continuously. The environment included cross-border exposure, artisanal mining pressure, remote logistics, community interfaces and the requirement to integrate public and private security providers.
Security was treated as an operational system rather than a guarding contract. Governance, manpower, infrastructure, technology, procedures, intelligence and crisis response were developed as connected workstreams and aligned to the mine's transition into production.
